This magical villa is located in Stankovci, quiet village in Ravni kotari, 12 km from the beach in Pirovac and 24 km from the City of Sibenik. This area is between the Zadar and the Šibenik county, both regions very famous for its natural beauties. Šibenik is one of the richest Croatian cities, both in monumental and natural beauties. As the villa is slightly situated in the countryside, it is easier to visit the beauties that are near. One of them is the Nature park Vrana Lake, an ornithological reserve. Another one is the National Park Krka, famous for its waterfalls, where you can swim in the freshwater.
No matter if you want to take a relaxing stroll through the Villa Grandfather’s Courtyard olive grove and fertile fields, swim in the secluded pool or simply want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside this comfortable villa has all the makings for a great experience.

This villa is children friendly and we have many toys for children, board games, a playhouse in the yard, outdoor children playground with swing and toboggan. Adults should play too! Villa provides basketball basket and ball, badmington net and rackets and swimming pool to play volleyball.

The family Dubravica’s old house itself has much history, being one of the oldest buildings in the original village Stankovaz (today called Stankovci).

This traditional Dalmatian stone house is the legacy of our ancestors, built of stone in the 1880 and completely renovated in 2021, which is why it was named Granfather’s Courtyard.
With great love and care, we have lovingly redesigned both the interiors and landscape surrounding the house and converted it into a holiday villa to give our guests the atmosphere of tradition, but still with the luxury comfort provided by all the facilities inside the house, in the courtyard and surrounding olive grove.
Ravni kotari is one of the richest and most fertile grounds in the Zadar county, that has lived through many historical tales, has at the same time been source of the best local products.
The ground floor of the Villa served as a „konoba“ (tavern) where the family Dubravica’s wine was made from grapes grown in their vineyards.
The owner’s family have lived in the region for decades and make their own wine which can be sampled during your visit.
People here lived not by the clock ticking, but by sun coming up and going down, by seasons of of planting and seasons of harvest, when the whole village would come to help out clear the fields.
On the ground floor of the Villa the „vatrenica“ was placed where the whole family gathered around the table after a long day work, to enjoy domestic meals, sip on the best wines, and listen to the tales of old.
